Welcome to my page about ME!
I have always loved the arts and can remember being pretty serious
about working with my pastels and charcoals before age 10. At the University of Texas at Austin and at Texas Tech University,
I studied photography, drawing, and sculpture.
In the past few years, I have sold my art in all 50 states in the US,
and in over 57 countries across the globe.
I would like to give a BIG THANK YOU! to all my customers and fellow
artists who enjoy my art.
I've been very honored to receive awards from my
artist peers on eBay at eBay's Annual Artist Choice Awards.
I think most of the
time while working, I'm trying to capture the true spirits and personalities
of animals. I don't often paint straight from my imagination, because Life
and Mother Nature are more beautiful and creative than I could ever be, so
most of the time, I'm simply enjoying recording Life with paint or pencil.
While I often strive toward a realistic look to my work, I also let
loose from time to time and enjoy more expressive brush stokes and and excitement of paints mixing on the canvas.
I'm always looking for new and exciting ways to express myself as an
artist, and my latest endeavor was to create a line of T-shirts to showcase
my graphite drawings and paintings, as well as offer some really WILD and FUN wearable art.
Then, I expanded my business to include tote bags, mousepads, and more
clothing items. I produce all of my product line myself in my little "home
factory." With all the new additions, my business has expanded beyond what I
can handle alone, so recently, I brought a partner on board and we've got
lots of exciting plans for the future, so stay tuned! :-)
